If you’re looking for the best morning coffee, and afternoon fix, or just want something sweet; finding good coffee is important. The following locations are Penn State student’s favorite place to grab a cup of jo, that don’t include busy and overpriced chain shops.

Rothrock Coffee is a specialty coffee shop with coffee that is brewed freshly in the shop with each cup. Rothrock does have free wifi use for customers and has both indoor and outdoor seating options.

2. Elixr

Elixr coffee is located in downtown State College! Elixr features lighter-roasted and unique coffee flavors. Elixr has free wifi use for customers, online ordering, and both indoor and outdoor seating options!

3. Vibe Coffee Co.

Vibe coffee is a rustic coffee shop that is located in downtown State College! Vibe Coffee features specialty coffees, teas, and bakery items. Vibe Coffee has free wifi use for customers, online ordering, and both indoor/outdoor seating options!

4. Irvings

Irvings is a simple cafe that features breakfast sandwiches, bagels, coffee, smoothies, teas, and so much more. Irvings is located right downtown State College across from Old Main lawn, it features a main traditional style cafe first floor and a quiet, specious, more study friendly area downstairs!

5. Sower's

Sower’s cafe features a traditional breakfast and lunch cafe menu with locally sourced ingredients. Sower’s is also a dietary friendly cafe. Sower’s is located in downtown State College with indoor and outdoor seating options available.
