The Nittany Lion Shrine is one of Penn State’s most iconic landmarks. The lion shrine was built over 80 years ago and has become a part of Penn State Traditions for decades. Some may say that you’re not a true Penn-Stater if you’ve never taken a picture in front of Penn State’s most recognizable mascot.

2. We Are Penn State-metal sign

“We Are”… “Penn State '', every Penn State's first words. The “We Are” sculpture is a place for Penn State students to sit and reflect on the universities’ most popular slogan. If you look closely, you’ll notice that this sculpture is also engraved with Penn State’s alma mater.

3. 3 Dots Piano

The 3 Dots Piano is a hidden gem that locals come across when exploring downtown State College. It’s the perfect place to show off your musical skills or put on a show for your followers.

4. Old Main Lawn

Old Main is one of Penn State’s most recognizable locations- second to the lion shrine. Old Main is one that’s hard to miss, its recognizable bell can be heard all throughout campus and downtown State College.

5. Beaver Stadium

Beaver Stadium is home to the Penn State Nittany Lion Football team and is the second largest college football stadium. So grab your best Penn State attire and go snap some pictures at a PSU tailgate or with the Nittany Lion himself!

10. Bryce Jordan Center during THON

THON is one of Penn State’s biggest student-run traditions that happens at the Bryce Jordan Center every year. THON weekend is a 46-hour no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon to raise funds & awareness for childhood cancer.
